CONTE IN LINE FOR MILAN JOB

According to a report by Italian Radio station Kiss Kiss Radio, the former Chelsea boss may have to cut his holidays short, as he is set to replace Gennaro Gattuso as AC Milan's new boss. The report revealed that Gattuso's credentials are not enough for Milan's new execs, and even if the former rossoneri bosses had granted the ex-midfielder a contract extension, the club's newly appointed management might turn the helm over to Conte. AC Milan had a Financial Fair Play sanction overturned by the Court of Arbitrage in Sports last week, and now they are preparing to play in the UEFA Europa League for a second straight year. As of now, the red and black outfit have completed the signings of five players, four of those being free agents. Conte's arrival to San Siro Stadium could boost the team's chances of landing top-caliber players and keeping some of their major assets around, such as Leonardo Bonucci and who knows Conte's playing style from their ti

Morata Wants Milan Move As Blues Demands €65-70m

Sky Italia reports Alvaro Morata would accept a move to Milan, but Chelsea are asking for €65-70m. The Rossoneri are keen to sign a top striker this summer, and have also been linked with Gonzalo Higuain of Juventus. Tonight transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has reported on his Sky show that new Rossoneri general manager Leonardo has contacted Morata’s entourage. The former Juve striker is keen to return to Italy and would accept the move, but the Blues would have to lower their €65-70m asking price. Higuain remains an option, with Monaco’s Radamel Falcao as the third name on the shortlist. Leonardo has also been in contact with Atletico Madrid about Nikola Kalinic, with the Croatian set to move on after one year at San Siro.

CHELSEA CLOSE IN ON COURTOIS REPLACEMENT

The blues are looking to sign former England international Robert Green on a short-term deal, according to the Daily Mail reports. The 38-year-old was a part of the Huddersfield side last season that avoided relegation but is out of contract and is a free agent. The report claims that Green would provide competition as a third-choice keeper and would also boost the home-grown quota of the Blues. Green has played for numerous clubs in England including Leeds United, QPR, Norwich City and West Ham United. The 38-year-old would provide competition to Thibaut Courtois and Willy Caballero, however, Courtois has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. Chelsea are interested in a number of keepers to replace Courtois, with Jack Butland being one Englishman being linked with a move to the Bridge. However, signing Green doesn’t really make the side any better for the coming season. Sure, he has a lot of experience and will be a steady head in the team but it would be a much bett

AGENT GIVES UPDATE ON PLAYER'S MOVE TO CHELSEA

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri will undoubtedly be eager to continue to stamp his mark on his newly inherited squad, and Daniele Rugani has been linked with a move. As noted by BBC Sport, the Italian tactician has already swooped for Jorginho to set up a reunion with his former Napoli star, and it could prove to be a crucial addition to help him implement his style of play at Stamford Bridge with little time before his first season in charge gets underway. However, he’s seemingly still keen to bolster his options ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign, with The Sun tipping Chelsea to make a £45m offer for Juventus defender Rugani. The 23-year-old is undoubtedly a talented individual and has previous experience working with Sarri too during their time at Empoli, and so it would seem to be another sensible bit of business if the Blues can pull a deal off to prise the centre-half away from the Turin giants. In what is seemingly a blow to Chelsea though, his agent, Davide

FORMER CHELSEA STAR JOINS EPL RIVALS

Fulham have signed Andre Schurrle from Borussia Dortmund on a two-season loan. The 27-year-old forward, who will wear the No 14 shirt, is Fulham's fourth signing of the summer transfer window. "Fulham were the first club that showed interest in me - that was something that I appreciated a lot, and one of the reasons I wanted to come here," he told the club's official website. "I have to fight for my place and I have to show my quality so that I can be a member who really helps the team." It is Schurrle's second spell in the Premier League, after two campaigns with Chelsea from 2013. He joined the Blues from Bayer Leverkusen and made 44 appearances, scoring 11 goals and claiming two assists. Schurrle left Stamford Bridge midway through the 2014/15 season for VfL Wolfsburg but still qualified for a Premier League winner's medal. He scored one goal and had four assists in 18 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund last season. Fulham ope

MARTIAL TO CHELSEA DONE?, FRENCHMAN LEAVES PRESEASON WITHOUT PERMISSION

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has left the pre-season tour of the United States to attend the birth of his second child. Manager Jose Mourinho gave Martial, 22, permission to fly back from Los Angeles, where United will play AC Milan in the International Champions Cup on Wednesday but as per club insiders report, the move left boss Mourinho furious as the player had no permissions from him. It is understood Mourinho is willing to sell the France international. However, United do not want him to join a Premier League rival. Martial, who also has a three-year-old daughter with his ex-girlfriend Samantha Jacquelinet, is desperate to leave Old Trafford and recently abandoned plans to move from a city centre apartment into a family home in Cheshire. Mourinho is determined to sell Martial to fund new signings before the transfer deadline on August 9. United will demand £80million for a player who cost £36m when he arrived from Monaco in 2015.

Chelsea news: Brother Urges Hazard To Reject Madrid For Chelsea Stay

The Belgium international has made it clear that he wants to leave Chelsea this summer and has indicated that a move to Madrid would be his preferred destination. Earlier this week, reports in France claimed that Chelsea and Madrid have reached an initial agreement to sell Hazard for €190 million (£170m). But the midfielder’s younger brother Kylian, who was signed by Chelsea last August but has not made a first-team appearance, has suggested that a move to Madrid is not the best option. Replying to a post on Instagram which asked ‘do you think this [Madrid] would be the right move for Hazard?’, Kylian replied with an emoji of a person making a cross with their arms. Hazard has just under two years left on his current contract with Chelsea and the club will hold out for a high transfer fee for the Belgian. Maurizio Sarri, meanwhile, has refused to rule out the prospect of keeping Hazard but claimed earlier this week that he wants to hold face-to-face talks with the midfielder. ‘A tele

Chelsea's Nigerian Goal Keeper Gets England National Team Call Up

Kelechi Chibueze has been called up to the England U16 squad for two international friendlies against Croatia this month. Chibueze is among five Chelsea starlets named on the roster by manager Kevin Betsy, the others being Levi Colwill, Samuel Iling, Jamal Musiala and Xavier Simons. The goalkeeper was in between the pipes for the Young Lions in Sunday evening's fixture at the  Branko Čavlović-Čavlek Stadium. He was selected to be in goal ahead of another player of Nigerian descent, Tottenham Hotspur's Tobi Oluwayemi. Last season, Noni Madueke (PSV), Armstrong Okoflex (Celtic) and goalkeeper Daniel Jinadu (West Ham) featured for England U16s and will be hoping to be promoted to the U17s ahead of the 2019 Fifa U17 World Cup. England U16s will face Croatia in their second friendly on July 24, starting from 1930 hours local time.

Tie Martial Down - Mourinho Orders Man. Utd Board To Activate Players Contract Clause

The Frenchman is out of contract with the Red Devils in 2019 after signing a four-year deal with the club following his £36million move from Monaco in 2015. Martial has been heavily linked with an exit from Old Trafford and his agent confirmed after the end of last season that his client wished to leave the club after falling out of favour following Alexis Sanchez’s arrival in January. United have received interest from Juventus, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham for Martial but the Daily Star say United will activate a clause in his deal to keep him at the club until at least 2020. That will buy United more time to negotiate a new deal with the Frenchman and the Red Devils had been confident of agreeing new terms last January. Should Martial not sign a new deal, he could be sold next summer as he enters the final year of his deal at the Theatre of Dreams. Mourinho appeared to rule out Martial leaving the club this summer this week by revealing the Frenchman would start up front next seas

Martial Cant Do Whatever He Wants - Mourinho Warns Martial Amid Chelsea Links

Last month, Martial’s agent Philippe Lamboley revealed that the 22-year-old wants to leave Old Trafford following unsuccessful negotiations over a new contract. Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Tottenham have all been linked with a move for the France international before the transfer window closes. But United have the upper hand as they have the option to extend Martial’s deal for a further 12 months until June 2020. And following United’s drab goalless draw against San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday evening, Mourinho told Martial that ‘you cannot do whatever you want in life’. ‘I don’t know what his agent told,’ said Mourinho. ‘I would like to be in Los Angeles now and I am in San Jose. ‘You cannot do whatever you want in life. ‘I would love to arrive in Los Angeles, to train in Los Angeles and play all my five matches in Los Angeles, and then don’t travel, don’t change hotel and then go back to Manchester. ‘I would like to play against Leicester on Sunday but I have to play on Friday, so yo

From the United States to Australia via mainland Europe and Asia, the 20 top-flight clubs will be involved in more than 100 fixtures this summer. Among the things on the agenda are building fitness, helping new players and managers settle in, and a bit of brand promotion too. Who plays where? Defending Premier League champions Manchester City travel to the US for a tour that includes matches against Premier League rivals Chelsea and Liverpool. Those three clubs will be joined by top-flight runners-up Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham in the International Champions Cup. The annual competition also features the champions of Spain, Italy, France and Germany - Barcelona, Juventus, Paris St-Germain and Bayern Munich - and Benfica and Atletico Madrid. Liverpool complete record £65m signing of Alisson from Roma

The Brazilian has signed a six-year deal at Anfield and becomes the most expensive goalkeeper in history Liverpool have completed the £65million (€73m/$85m) signing of Alisson Becker from Roma. The Brazilian has signed a six-year deal at Anfield and becomes the most expensive goalkeeper in history by doing so. He is the Reds' fourth signing of what is becoming an impressive summer for Jurgen Klopp's side, joining Naby Keita, Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri in moving to Merseyside. Liverpool identified the 25-year-old as their preferred choice to be the club's No.1 last season, and worked hard this summer to thrash out a deal with Roma, who were reluctant to lose one of their star men to the Reds for the second year in a row. Indeed, the £36.9m deal which took Mohamed Salah to Anfield last summer was discussed during the clubs' negotiations for this deal. The Italians' initial asking price of £90m, quoted to Liverpool back in January, was seen as excessive b

WHO IS TAHITH CHONG, MANCHESTER UNITED NEW BOY

Manchester United fans are growing increasingly excited about Tahith Chong, but who is he? The 18-year-old was signed from Feyenoord in 2016 and immediately caught the eye as part of Kieran McKenna's U18 side. He announced himself in his first season at the club by scoring a stunning strike at Old Trafford in the FA Youth Cup - which turned out to be United's only goal in that competition in 2016/17. Unfortunately, a cruciate injury curtailed his first campaign in Manchester in January, but after spending 10 months on the sidelines the Dutch teenager's star continues to rise. Watched by Jose Mourinho on his U23s debut in January, Chong scored United's only goal against Spurs from the right wing and was the best player wearing red on both of his reserve appearances so far. Mourinho has confirmed that Chong has trained with the first team this season and EA Sports have included him in the senior squad in FIFA 18. United continue to lack a specialist right winger and t

Madrid Agree £170m Hazard Fee With Chelsea - Reports

Reports this evening suggest that Chelsea and Real Madrid may have come to an agreement over a fee for the transfer of Eden Hazard. Hazard has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge all summer, following a season in which Chelsea finished fifth in the Premier League, failing to qualify for the Champions League. That cost Antonio Conte his job, with Maurizio Sarri brought in to replace him at the weekend. Hazard shone at the World Cup in Russia, helping Belgium to the semi-finals and when asked about his future following the tournament, openly admitted that his time at Chelsea could be up. Real Madrid president makes transfer vow amid links to Chelsea ace Eden Hazard The Belgian star said: "After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different. I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will make the final decision - if they want to let me go. You know my preferred destination." His preferred destination alluded

Ronaldo Lands In Turin

Cristiano Ronaldo is already in Turin having dinner with Juventus directors and agent Jorge Mendes ahead of tomorrow’s medical. In an effort to avoid crowds or reporters, the Real Madrid star flew in to Turin’s Caselle airport with a private jet during the World Cup Final. He was accompanied by his mother Maria Dolores, girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and son Cristiano Junior. They then went to La Mandria, where he will be staying tonight ahead of the medical at the J-Centre on Monday morning. Ronaldo had dinner with agent Jorge Mendes, Juve director general Giuseppe Marotta, director of sport Fabio Paratici and Vice-President Pavel Nedved. La Mandria is a large park, some of which is closed off to the public and reserved only for residents. This has prompted some to report Ronaldo has chosen to live in one of these luxury homes overlooking the park. Part of it is a golf course and they had dinner at the Golf Club restaurant. Ronaldo will have his medical tomorrow morning and hold a pr

UNITED'S POGBA A CHAMPION AS FRANCE WALK OVER CROATIA

Paul Pogba has done what very few players can say they have achieved during their career – score a goal in a World Cup final and lift the trophy! The Manchester United midfielder netted a stunning third goal for France in the second half of their pulsating 4-2 victory over Croatia in Sunday’s final in Moscow, following up his initial blocked shot with a rasping effort from the edge of the box which flew past Croatia keeper Danijel Subašić. It was our no.6’s first goal of the tournament and he left it for the biggest occasion. Paul also became the first United player to score in a World Cup final and the first Premier League player to net in the showpiece event since Emmanuel Petit, once of Arsenal, when France were last crowned world champions as the host nation in 1998. Earlier in the game, Croatia striker Mario Mandzukic headed Antoine Griezmann’s free-kick into his own net, but Ivan Perisic’s fine finish levelled matters for Croatia 10 minutes later. However, Griezmann’s c

MANDZUKIC AND PERISIC ERRORS MAKES FRANCE WORLD CHAMPIONS

Didier Deschamps' side repeated the success on home soil at France '98 by a margin that hardly looked possible as Croatia stood toe-to-toe with the favourites for an hour. France's victory meant Deschamps, who captained them 20 years ago, became just the third man to win the competition as a player and coach. Croatia also felt their luck deserted them, but ultimately France ran out victorious to erase the memories of the loss to Portugal in the Euro 2016 final in Paris. In one of the most exciting World Cup finals of the modern era, played out to a soundtrack of thunder, Croatia and France delivered an enthralling spectacle that brought the highest goal tally in a final since 1966, a pitch invasion, and a controversial intervention from the video assistant referee that had a huge influence on the outcome. France took the lead after 18 minutes when Antoine Griezmann's free-kick deflected in off Mario Mandzukic's head - but Croatia were by far the better

CHELSEA TO ATTACK & WIN EVERYTHING - NEW BOSS WARNS EPL TEAMS

Having been linked with the club for months, the Italian, 59, finally flew into London on a private jet from Milan’s Linal airport and put pen to a three-year deal worth around £15million. Former Naploli boss Sarri will meet the players on Monday and prepare for their trip to Australia. He succeeds Antonio Conte, who was sacked on Thursday despite landing the title and the FA Cup in a two-year spell. And Sarri brought midfielder Jorginho with him from Napoli yesterday in a £57.5m deal that helped sweeten his pay-off from Napoli. He said: “I am very happy to be coming to Chelsea and the Premier League. It is an exciting new period in my career. “I look forward to starting work and meeting the players on Monday ahead of travelling to Australia, where I will be able to get to know the squad and begin our match action. “I hope we can provide some entertaining football for our fans, and that we will be competing for trophies at the end of the season, which is what this club
