MATEO KOVACIC JOINS CHELSEA IN COURTOIS SWAP

Chelsea have agreed a deal to take real madrid's Mateo Kovacic as part of the deal for Belgian Goalie Courtois subject to personal terms. The Blues say the deal is still subject to Courtois agreeing personal terms and completing a medical. Real plan to present the 26-year-old, who will sign a six-year deal, as their new signing at 12:00 BST on Thursday. Athletic Bilbao's Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to arrive as his replacement for £71m - a world record for a goalkeeper. And Croatia midfielder Kovacic, 24, will have a medical on Wednesday before joining on a season-long loan. He has spent the past three campaigns at Real since joining from Inter Milan, and played in Croatia's run to the World Cup final in July. Courtois has been a Chelsea player since 2011, when he signed from Genk. He was immediately loaned to Atletico Madrid, where he played until 2014, before returning as the Blues' number one. On Monday he was absent from Chelsea's Cobham traini...

Morata Wants Milan Move As Blues Demands €65-70m

Sky Italia reports Alvaro Morata would accept a move to Milan, but Chelsea are asking for €65-70m. The Rossoneri are keen to sign a top striker this summer, and have also been linked with Gonzalo Higuain of Juventus. Tonight transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has reported on his Sky show that new Rossoneri general manager Leonardo has contacted Morata’s entourage. The former Juve striker is keen to return to Italy and would accept the move, but the Blues would have to lower their €65-70m asking price. Higuain remains an option, with Monaco’s Radamel Falcao as the third name on the shortlist. Leonardo has also been in contact with Atletico Madrid about Nikola Kalinic, with the Croatian set to move on after one year at San Siro.

ARSENAL & MAN. UTD TARGET W. CAVALHO JOINS BETIS

It’s official, William Carvalho has joined Real Betis. The Portuguese midfielder, who was wanted by the likes of Arsenal, Man. Utd. and Inter Milan has joined Real Betis. The 26-year-old midfielder recently terminated his contract with former club Sporting Lisbon, from the Portuguese Liga NOS, after an attack on Lisbon’s training centre in May by a group of ultras. They trashed the centre and attacked players and staff, in violent protest against the club’s chairman, who has since been replaced. In retaliation to the attack, Carvalho, alongside Gelson Martins, Bas Dost, Rui Patricio and others, terminated their contracts, making them available on free transfers. Carvalho was wanted by a number of clubs, yet has agreed a deal to move to Betis. The club announced the signing in a hilarious way as, because Carvalho is currently on vacation still, they photoshopped an image of him alongside defender Marc Bartra. Morata Hints At Chelsea Stay; Sends Messages To Fans

His future might have been under the microscope this summer after a difficult debut season but the striker has appeared to commit his future to the Blues. The 25-year-old netted just 11 times in 24 starts and seven substitute appearances in the Premier League, while he also netted just once in the Champions League and League Cup, with two strikes in the FA Cup as well. Having only joined Chelsea last summer there had been some question marks over whether or not Morata would be keen to carry on next year, with some links of a return to Juventus or even Borussia Dortmund. However, Morata has taken to his Instagram page to send a message to the Blues supporters about where his near future is going to lie and what he hopes to achieve next season. Morata lost his starting spot to Olivier Giroud towards the end of the previous campaign, with the Spaniard also missing out on a spot in his country's World Cup squad. Next season the Blues will have a number of strikers to p...
